LISBON DESIGN WEEK 2025 had more participants and new neighborhoods.
From May 28th to June 1st, 2025, Lisbon celebrated creativity, design, and craftsmanship, with over 95 participants and 250 creatives. The third edition of Lisbon Design Week (LDW) arrived in the city between May 28th and June 1st, promising five days of a broad and immersive experience in the world of design. After the success of previous editions, the event continues to grow: this year, LDW had over 95 participants (including galleries, studios, brands, and shops) and over 250 creatives (the so-called “Makers”), and it grew in scale and impact, reaching two new neighborhoods — Ajuda/Belém/Restelo and Beato/Marvila, reinforcing its commitment to the city’s creative diversity. In this edition, the organization continues its collaboration with cultural institutions, such as MUDE – Museu do Design, notably with the exhibition of new talents, winners of the Young Design Generation Open Call.

Portugal faz bem: Contemporary Ceramics by artist Liliana Silva from Terrakota.
The January issue of Caras Decoração was dedicated to well-being and focused on the renewing power of the home and healing spaces. We also showcased the past and future in the celebration of Topázio’s 150th anniversary, the designer ceramics brand Terrakota, founded by Liliana Silva, the Luz Charming Houses accommodation project in Serra de Aire, and new public spaces to discover. These include: the luxurious and renovated Cartier store on the capital’s most sophisticated street, the Azulaico flagship store inaugurated on Avenida da Boavista in Porto, and the Spanish brand La Nena, also based in Porto, which arrives in Portugal through the architect Ana Pinto, founder of aniStudio.
