DON´T MISS THE CAPSULE COLLECTION
Realizing that creative exploration was essential for her personal fulfillment, she made the decision to return home. After completing courses in Fashion Design, she opted to alter her career trajectory.
Upon her return, she joined her father’s ceramics business. In this capacity, she was able to unleash her creativity and develop her own unique pieces.
In 2020, she established her own practice. Although she is currently based in Esposende, her work has its roots in Barcelos, a region widely known as the land of the rooster.

Liliana Silva (Portugal, 1984) is a ceramic artist living and working in Esposende. Raised in a family of potters, she developed an intuitive relationship with clay and manual processes from an early age. Between Barcelos a region with a strong ceramic tradition and the years she lived in London, she cultivated a refined sensitivity to form, colour and spatial composition, strengthened by regular visits to museums and contemporary art galleries.
She holds a Degree in Fashion Design by the University of London. In 2020 she open her studio, establishing a practice that merges artisanal heritage with a contemporary approach to ceramic sculpture and functional objects. Her work explores organic volumes, tactile surfaces and a chromatic palette that shifts between subtle and intense tones, with each piece conceived as a unique object shaped through fully manual processes.
